About Us

Doctor Mobile was founded in 2008 by two mobile industry executives, right after they sold their mobile document management company to their competitor. They recognized the growing need for companies to develop mobile applications to support their offering and at the same time saw a barrier to entry for those customers to build internal teams. Diversity of mobile platforms, specific expertise required for effective development and rigorous quality standards demanded higher cost levels that many customers could afford in-house.

The founders created two offshore locations in Ukraine and Russia and built a strong Agile process for the teams to follow during software development. Over time the team grew to include over 100 experts in mobile development with expertise in major mobile ecosystems, stellar client list and ability to execute projects end-to-end – from idea to placement in app stores.
